ABOUT
OUR MINES
The Foungbesso, Moyango and Viala (FMV) deposits are located in the districts of Touba and Biankouma, 485 km north of San Pedro and 633 km northwest of Abidjan.
These are among the largest and richest nickel laterite deposits in the world, known for over 40 years. FMV's nickel-rich horizons are close to the ground surface, making deposits easily accessible and allowing for a simple mining process.
CMB's mining license covers an area of 66 km2. The land affected (mines and infrastructure) does not exceed 1.05 km2, which represents only 1.6% of the total concession.

Our mission is to actively contribute to the global energy transition and infrastructure by providing the world with responsibly and ethically sourced nickel, an essential raw material.
