CMB works to maintain very close and constructive relationships with all the stakeholders in its areas of operations.

As per the requirement of the mining law, CMB has established a Local Development Committee (“CDLM”) with communities and the Government of Ivory Coast. The CDLM comprises representatives from the villages impacted by CMB’s operations as well as representatives from the Prefectures of Touba and Biankouma and the Conseils Regionals. CMB also holds a seat on the committee. The CDLM’s remit is to determine which social projects will be funded by CMB’s development contributions.
