Mines
CMB today operates the Foungouesso and Moyango opencast mines which have total reserves as per the 2016 feasibility study for Foungouesso, Moyango and Viala of 46.9 million dry tonnes at 2.00% Nickel content (dry grade). In addition, NOCI, a sister company of CMB, holds the Sipilou North licence which is one of the largest and richest nickel laterite deposits in the world today.
Logistics and Port
CMB exports laterite ore mainly through the port of San Pedro. To increase its export capacity the company has developed its own mining quay, stockpile area, and associated loading facilities at the port of San Pedro.
